Refunds

Draft, pending legal review. Nothing here is final yet.
CarMatter Plus is bought in the app, through the App Store or Google Play, or on this website, through Paddle. Whoever took the payment handles its refund; we’ll gladly help you through it.
iPhone and iPad
Apple decides refunds for App Store purchases; we can’t issue them ourselves.
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
- Choose “Request a refund”, say why, and pick CarMatter Plus.
- Apple decides and lets you know by email.
Android
Google Play lets you ask for a refund yourself for a short time after you buy. The steps and the time limits are in Google Play’s refund help. Google Play also lets us refund a purchase ourselves: after that window, write to us and we’ll look at it.
Bought on the web
Plus bought on this website is sold by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record. If it isn’t right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment and you’ll get it back in full. Ask Paddle at paddle.net (find your order with the email on your receipt), or write to us and we’ll arrange it. A free trial costs nothing, so there’s nothing to refund if you cancel during it.
Cancelling
Cancelling stops the next renewal; it doesn’t refund the period you’re in, and Plus stays on until that period ends. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions at least 24 hours before Plus renews; for Plus bought on the web, use “Manage subscription” on your account page.
